Currency format

The Currency Format settings allow you to control how prices appear throughout your store, helping ensure clarity for customers—especially in international contexts.

Show Currency Codes

Field type: Checkbox Label: Show currency codes

When enabled, prices will include the 3-letter currency code (e.g., USD, EUR) alongside the currency symbol:

  • Example: $1.00 USD instead of just $1.00

This applies to:

  • Product prices

  • Cart and checkout previews

  • Price comparisons and sale badges

Note: Currency codes are always shown in the cart and checkout regardless of this setting, to ensure clarity during purchase.

How to Enable

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin.

  2. Click Customize next to the Elemento theme.

  3. Navigate to Theme Settings → Currency Format.

  4. Check the Show currency codes option.

  5. Click Save.
