# Search

The **Search** settings define what types of content are shown in search results when a customer submits a query. This gives you control over how broad or focused your store’s search experience is.

#### Show Products in Search Results

**Field type:** Checkbox\
**Description:**\
Displays **products** that match the search query.

* This is the core search result type and is usually enabled by default.
* Matches are based on product titles, descriptions, tags, and more.

#### Show Pages in Search Results

**Field type:** Checkbox\
**Description:**\
Includes **pages** (like “About Us” or “Shipping Info”) in search results.

* Useful if your store has informative or content-rich pages that customers may look for.
* Can help reduce support requests by making answers more discoverable.

#### Show Articles in Search Results

**Field type:** Checkbox\
**Description:**\
Displays **blog articles** that match the query.

* Ideal if your store uses a blog to publish updates, guides, or marketing content.
* Helps increase visibility of educational or promotional material.

#### How to Configure

1. In Shopify admin, go to **Online Store → Themes**.
2. Click **Customize** on the Elemento theme.
3. Navigate to **Theme Settings → Search**.
4. Check or uncheck the desired content types.
5. Save your changes.
