# Search behavior

The **Search Behavior** settings control how the search experience works for users browsing your store. This includes real-time suggestions, product previews, and overall responsiveness of the search field.

#### Enable Search Suggestions

**Field type:** Checkbox\
**Label:** *Enable search suggestions*

When enabled, the search input field will display **live suggestions** as the user types.

#### How to Enable

1. In Shopify admin, go to **Online Store → Themes**.
2. Click **Customize** for the Elemento theme.
3. Open **Theme Settings → Search Behavior**.
4. Check the box labeled **Enable search suggestions**.
5. Save your changes.
