# Header group

Sections in this group appear at the top of the site and are intended for **site-wide navigation or announcements**.

**Typical sections include:**

* [**Header**](/elemento-docs/theme-sections/static-sections/header.md) – the main site navigation and branding (logo, menu, etc.)
* [**Announcement bar**](/elemento-docs/theme-sections/preset-sections/announcement-bar.md) – for promotional or informative messages

These sections are usually static and always visible across all pages, but you can toggle visibility or customize them.
