Favicon

The favicon is the small icon that appears in the browser tab next to your store's title. Setting a custom favicon helps reinforce your brand and makes your site more recognizable in browser tabs and bookmarks.

How to Set a Favicon

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.

  2. Click Customize on the Elemento theme.

  3. In the Theme Editor, click on Theme Settings (usually found in the bottom-left corner).

  4. Select the Favicon section.

  5. Upload an image file using the image selector.

Image Requirements

  • Recommended size: 32 × 32 pixels

  • File size: Keep it as small as possible for fast loading

Tips

  • Use a simplified version of your logo for best clarity at small sizes.

  • Avoid complex shapes or detailed text — favicons are displayed very small.

  • Once uploaded, check your storefront in different browsers to ensure it displays correctly.
