Breadcrumbs
The Breadcrumbs section is a preset navigational component that automatically adapts to the current page context, providing users with a clear path of where they are within your store’s hierarchy. Whether placed on a product page, collection, blog post, or any other template, the breadcrumb trail dynamically adjusts to display the relevant parent and child navigation levels.
This improves usability by allowing users to quickly return to previous pages, enhancing site navigation and overall shopping experience.
🧭 Example: On a product page within a collection, breadcrumbs might display:
Home / Collection Name / Product Name.
How to Configure the Breadcrumbs
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
Click Customize next to the Elemento theme.
In the theme editor, navigate to the desired page template where breadcrumbs are used (e.g., Product page, Collection page).
In the left sidebar, locate and select the Breadcrumbs section or enable breadcrumbs in the relevant section settings.
Click Save.
