Complementory products
The Complementary Products section is a preset available only on product pages. It is used to display a list of related or recommended products—typically accessories, add-ons, or similar items—to encourage additional purchases and increase average cart value.
How to Configure the Complementary Products
Note: This section is only available on the Product page. The products shown in this section are configured via the Search & Discovery app.
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
Click Customize next to the Elemento theme.
In the theme editor, navigate to the Product page using the top preview dropdown.
In the left sidebar, locate the Complementary Products section or click Add section to insert it.
To manage which products appear here, open the Search & Discovery app from your Shopify admin.
In the app, assign complementary products to each main product.
Return to the theme editor to adjust the layout and style of the section if needed.
Click Save.

Behavior and Configuration
The products shown in this section are configured manually using the Shopify Search & Discovery app.
Navigate to Shopify Admin → Apps → Search & Discovery → Product Recommendations to assign complementary products to each product.(Find more information in the Shopify documentation)
The section will only appear on a product page if relevant products have been assigned through the app.
If no complementary products are set, the section will be hidden automatically.
